Nick Wooster hired by JC Penney as Creative Director of men’s clothing.
It’ll be interesting to see what comes of this. JC Penney’s positioning as a low-cost retailer and Nick’s great taste could mean stylish and affordable options at a mall near you. This could be a fantastic opportunity for JC Penney to set themselves up as, say, a Uniqlo alternative, only with e-commerce and retail presence in pretty much every major metropolitan area in the country.
Or we can hope as much.
